Charitable Mission Statement

Our charitable mission is focused on enhancing education in all its forms. With a long-term view, we believe that improving the quality of and access to education is the ultimate solution to all problems: war, poverty, disease, racism, and more. This focus on education comes in both hands-on and financial forms.

The centerpiece of this strategy is the Donald E. Flinchbaugh Memorial Scholarship, named for Jamie Flinchbaugh’s grandfather. This scholarship, held at Lehigh University, goes towards a student who demonstrates entrepreneurial passion and interest while attending for a technical degree. Adding to this scholarship is the Jill E. Triani Experiential Learning Scholarship for Art and Architecture. This scholarship is to provide access for experiential learning opportunities such as design competitions for art and architecture students.

We also support educational opportunities in Jamie’s hometown of York, PA with the Alethea and Graham Watts Memorial Fund, named after Jamie’s other grandparents, where all the distribution of funds has gone towards educational opportunities mostly in York City schools.

We are also actively engaged in university classrooms, primarily at Lehigh and MIT. This has largely been through teaching or mentoring in the area of entrepreneurship. This began in 2006 when Jamie was the Entrepreneur in Residence, and 3 of the 4 companies he mentored are still operating today. Jamie both teaches entrepreneurship in various classes, he primarily spends his time mentoring students on their entrepreneurial efforts.
